[enviroCar-discuss] Redundant points in tracks

staschc
Hi,

I encountered that a track may contain redundant measurement points (follow [1] for an example and search for timestring "2014-01-22T22:29:11Z"). Seems like all measured values in the redundant features are the same, except the id of the feature. Hence, I guess that the error occurs when uploading the data. I'd suggest to check for redundant timestamps before inserting the data. I can also provide some help with that, if someone could point me to the code, where the insertion is handled J

Cheers,

Christoph

Re: Redundant points in tracks

Hi Christoph,

this is probably related to a known bug [1]. The example given in the issue has two features with the same timestamp but different contents. Thus my guess is that something is going wrong within the app. We are working on a solution.

Best,
Matthes
