Dear Carsten,

I found the OBDII port. It is actually located above the parking brake to the lower left corner of the steering wheel on Toyota 4Runner 2004. I plugged the adapter in, and a light went on (see attached photo). However, when I searched the for bluetooth device, my phone (Samsung  SIII, running Android) could not find the adapter.

Is there a manual as to help diagnose the problem?

Thanks,

Yan

Hi Carsten, Yan,

which adapter are you using? Did you try to connect with another mobile phone?

Best regards,

Christoph

I can try again, but none of our phones seems to see the adapter via bluetooth...Will report back on test results.
