Downloading the complete data

Jothirnadh Sai Guthula
Dear All,

I'm Jothirnadh from ITC, Netherlands. I'm currently doing my research on Crowd sourced geo-information under the supervision of Prof. M.J. Kraak and Dr. R.L.G. Lemmens from ITC. I came to know about enviroCar platform from Dr. R.L.G. Lemmens and selected it as one of the case study in my research. I hope my research will give new insights from the visualization perspective in understanding spatio-temporal patterns of enviroCar data. In order to get the data I tried to download it from the server and got only a limited amount of it. I also tried to follow the links provided in the previous discussion but they seems to be expired. Can anyone help me in downloading the complete data.

Looking forward for a positive response.
Thanking you,

With Regards,
Jothirnadh Sai Guthula

Hi Jothirnadh,

it is a great idea to use enviroCar data for one of your case studies! We would be very interested in the results of your work.

Let me try to give some advice for accessing the whole data. The first thing you might want to take a look at is the Server's API documentation. It describes how to access the list of tracks [1] and the contents (= measurements) of a single track [2].

All REST resources that manage a collection of a certain type (e.g. tracks, users, phenomena) support paging. Paging is described at [3]. The basic approach is to navigate through a resource via the "page" and "limit" URL parameters. This way, you can access all available data. Requests look like these:

Let us know if you have further questions!
